Bekina Compounds has been ISO14001 certified since 2001. This certificate guarantees that a company has implemented an effective environmental management system. This certification is not generally mandatory, but for us it is confirmation of our ambitious Bekina Standard. This stringent standard reflects our sincere commitment to the environment. We attained the certification through the consolidated efforts of all our employees and partners. It provides strong backing for our chosen sustainability policy and motivates us to set the bar consistently higher than standard regulatory requirements.

Our products are REACH compliant, which means they comply with European regulations for the safe use of chemicals. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. They do not contain any prohibited substances and meet the requirements for registration, evaluation and communication within the chain. Bekina Compounds develops rubber compounds that can be flexibly adapted to meet fire safety standards such as UL94, EN 45545-2 and others, depending on specific customer requirements and applications.

Bekina Compounds rubber compounds can be flexibly adapted to meet the most important international regulations for food contact. Depending on the specific application and customer requirements, our formulations can comply with E1935:2004, FDA 177.2600, BfR recommendations and other similar standards.
